Photography Workshop at the Bunya Mountains, Friday 13 to Sunday 15 May 2011

I’ve dreamed of running a photography workshop at the beautiful Bunya Mountains ever since I first visited in the mid 1970s.

I come from Blackall in central western Queensland where the country is a very flat, not many trees and the country is brown most of the time. The Bunya Mountains on the other hand have real mountains, the Bunya Pines reach to the sky; the country is so green it burns your eyes. It all seemed very exotic to me back then and still does today. After the massive summer rains the sub tropical Bunya Mountain rainforest is lush, a photographer’s paradise.
