John Elliott’s 2011 Golden Guitar picks

Now THAT's a Golden Guitar

I was a judge for the Golden Guitars for many years in the 1990s and was sometimes frustrated that my selections often didn’t always match up with the results. So taking my past experience as a judge (not getting it right that often) and looking at the results for the past 38 awards I am going to take a stab at picking this years Golden Guitar Winners.

My selections could cost me friends and I’m really torn in some cases because there was so much good music this year. I may be right off the mark but here we go……
